A little history
In 1998, I remember sitting in my father's real estate office (Re/Max in Jacksonville) searching for a web site for his real estate business. There were cheap sites that looked horrible, expensive sites that had a lot of flash but no substance, and everything in between. But I couldn't find a good real estate web site! That's when, after much cajoling on my part, Dad gave me the go-ahead: I would build the site. So for the next four months I did double duty working in Dad's office during the day and building the new site at night. In the end the site building time was cutting into helping Dad with real estate and just as both of us were about to go nuts: Dad because he'd lost his "workforce", and me because the hours were taking their toll, I finished the site.
